Domestic Short Hair - White - Dolce - Large - Adult - Female
A very special girl who is truly made of sugar and spice and everything nice needs a home and her own person to love!
Recently GMS received an urgent phone call from a young couple on Potrero Hill asking for our help with Dolce, an incredibly friendly stray white cat they had started feeding. However, they realized she needed more than just food. She needed immediate medical attention because her skin was damaged with a great deal of scabbing on her ears, nose and around her eyes.
GMS stepped in and took her to Dr. Linda Hall at Animal Farm where Dolce was diagnosed with a severe case of skin cancer. Because the cancer was so extensive, her prognosis was guarded. (Cats with light pigmentation are prone to skin cancer if they are exposed to damaging UV rays.) Dr. Hall removed most of Dolce?s ear flaps and cauterized the cancerous cells under her eyes and nose.
As you can see, Dolce is now happy, healthy and doesn?t mind her new look at all. We think she looks like a little white seal. She has filled out and her face and ears have healed remarkably well. We think she is about 3 years old. Will you be the lucky one to have this grateful, sugar plum feline as your forever companion?
