I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. He had never been on a skateboard and was easily able to start right away working on balance and turns.
Having been a skater in a previous life, I knew a bit about what I was looking for. It needed to be light enough for his size, have a decent concave, and the bearings needed to be smooth.
