Meet Phoebe! She?s a sweet little 2-3 year old Dachshund/Yorkie mix with perhaps some Shih Tzu in her who came to us from the Martinez Shelter. She's a unique mix of dogs, whatever they officially may be. We have never seen a dog in such horid conditions, as when Phoebe came to us. She was matted so terrible, it was painful for her to be touched. With lots of TLC Phoebe is doing much better & feels great.
She?s a special needs girl, as she really needs someone who will be patient with her and help her gain trust in people again. We think she may have been left in a yard for a while and was badly neglected, medically and emotionally. She?s doing great in foster care & gets along with other dogs around her size. Phoebe is truly a special dog and we want to find her a great home! She has been spayed, chipped and has all her shots.
