2 yr old male budgie for adoption in San Francisco, California For Sale

Hi! I am suddenly moving and I need to find a home for my dear budgie "Birdy." Birdy is male, he was hand raised, I bought him from a reputable pet store here in San Francisco two years ago. Birdy is a delightful bird and incredibly low-maitenance pet unless he is hungry, then he squawks - and if he is settling into a new place he might be a bit loud at first. His wings are not clipped, I usually let him fly around the house but even with an open cage door he spends 90% of his time in his cage - which is included in the adoption. Birdy is semi-tame, I have to chase him around a bit if its time for him to be back in his cage, but he loves to perch on my shoulder and head and always flies out and greets new people that come over. He likes to nibble on veggies with me and loves music - I sing and play the piano and harp and he loves to sing along and fly around the instruments. I think he could make a great bond with a new owner, especially if you feed him treats - he's all about food, and a bit plump too!
