ANTIQUE CHINESE BOX w/drawers in San Francisco, California For Sale

Beautiful antique Chinese box with 4 working drawers hidden inside. Hand-carved front panel is red lacquered with gilded highlights. The panel opens with a small brass latch and can be removed to reveal four drawers inside. Perfect for make-up, sewing supplies, buttons or other treasures. It's a lovely piece for decoration anywhere. I purchased it from my best antique dealer in Hong Kong. It's a very unique and beautiful piece. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere in SF or on e-Bay. Note the dove-tailing in the corner joints and original brass hardware. I'm sorry to let it go, it's one of my favorites, but we are downsizing and won't have room for it.
